ProSep, a global environmentally friendly solutions provider aiming to reduce chemical usage and provide safe and clean water, has secured two multi-million-dollar contracts that will lower the use of harmful chemicals in gas oil separation plants in the middle east.

ProSep will provide eight of its Multiphase Adjustable Xtreme (MAX) Mixers, which are scheduled to be completed, delivered and installed by the end of December 2021. The high-efficiency mixers will allow the optimised injection of chemicals upstream of fluid dehydration processes.

These latest awards bring the total number of units deployed in the region over the past 20 months to 37.

As the focus upon a wide range of environmental, social and governance (ESG) objectives increases, ProSep’s solutions assist by facilitating a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) via lower chemical consumption, a decrease of waste in crude production and produced water treatment, and the removal of harmful contaminants from the environment.

With this latest deployment, ProSep estimates that the operator will benefit from GHG reductions of >880 tpy and save more than 200 000 gallons of chemical per year, allowing significant savings to the operator.

Raul Gonzalo, ProSep’s Middle East Sales and Service Manager, said: “The Middle East continues to be a strong market for ProSep, underlined by these contract awards which confirm once again that end users value our high-efficiency mixing technologies and their positive impact – not only on reducing operating costs but also on the environmental efficiency of the company.

“The spotlight is now firmly placed on the global industries to be more environmentally efficient as we transition to renewables, and we are proud that our technologies offer our clients sustainable solutions, which align with their strategic objectives.”

With a portfolio of environmentally friendly proprietary products, ProSep has installed over 200 high-efficiency mixers globally, saving thousands of t of Green House Gas emissions, and continues to work with some of the world’s largest companies, providing them with a rapid Return on Investment (ROI).
