Elliott Group has announced the appointment of Mark Cain as Vice President of Human Resources.

In his new role, Cain will oversee Elliott’s global HR practices, policies, and operations including labour relations, compensation and benefits, training, talent acquisition, and leadership development.

Cain said: “I look forward to working with Elliott’s leadership team and employees to direct Elliott’s global HR strategy, and to support and strengthen its collaborative culture.”

Cain will report directly to Chief Operating Officer, Michael Lordi, who added: “A skilled, engaged, and highly motivated workforce is critical to Elliott’s ongoing success as a global rotating equipment manufacturer. Mark’s extensive experience and proven track record in leading human resource teams at several world class manufacturing organisations is a strong fit for Elliott. He has the knowledge, energy, and vision to drive HR synergies and best practices with our current workforce, and to attract and inspire our future workforce.”

Cain succeeds Brian Lapp, who retired after ten years with Elliott.

Prior to joining Elliott, Cain spent 13 years with Sypris Technologies in Louisville, Kentucky, US.
