Merichem appoints Executive Vice President and CFO

Merichem Company has announced the appointment of Adam Peakes to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In addition to his financial and fiduciary duties as CFO, Mr Peakes has joined Merichem with a strong background in strategic financial management, including mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Merichem, Mr Peakes was named Senior Vice President and CFO of Noble Corp. plc in January 2017. Before that, Mr Peakes served since 2011 as Managing Director and Head of OFS Investment Banking at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Com., an integrated investment and merchant bank serving the energy industry. From 1999 to 2011, he served in various roles at Goldman Sachs & Co., including most recently as Managing Director, Global Natural Resources in the Investment Banking Division.

Mr Peakes received a BA in political science and managerial studies from Rice University in 1995 and received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 2000.
