The NEUMAN & ESSER GROUP (NEA) has announced that it is transforming itself into a solution provider for sustainable energy systems.

To this end, the ‘Energy Solutions’ business unit has been implemented and expanded. Along the hydrogen value chain, it combines know-how from compressor technology with extended products such as electrolysers and services for planning, project planning and marketing of hydrogen and green gases.

This expansion further demonstrates how NEA supports the current transformation of the fossil fuel-based oil and gas sector to a sustainable hydrogen economy with green hydrogen.

“In order to drive the decarbonisation of the various sectors, we have expanded our product portfolio to include key components in the value chain,” explains Stefanie Peters, Managing Partner of the NEA GROUP and member of the National Hydrogen Council of the German Federal Government. “The economy needs a technically optimised solution from the generation of climate-neutral hydrogen to transport, storage and application, which we offer with our Energy Solutions.”

NEA has become a technology leader for compressor systems that are used to compress processed gas, natural gas and technical gases. Its customers are from renewable energies, as well as the chemical and petrochemical industry. The integration of HOFER high-pressure technology into the NEA GROUP strengthened its market position as a compressor manufacturer.

NEA initiated the expansion of the new Energy Solutions business unit with strategic investments and acquisitions in the field of alternative energy sources. New experts joined the ‘NEA family’ for mobility with fuel cell drives (AEDS – AE Driven Solutions GmbH), for biogas and biomethane (ARCANUM Energy Systems GmbH & Co. KG) for electrolysis systems (HYTRON Energy & Gas) and for climate-neutral fuels, so-called e-fuels (INFINIUM). The newly founded company NEA GREEN GmbH & Co. KG bundles the core know-how of the group of companies around green gases from the first concept and advice, including feasibility studies, through project development to the implementation of H2 systems and their sales support.

The industry can therefore benefit from NEA’s comprehensive know-how for the production, storage and transport of green hydrogen.
