EIC launches global forum to drive investment in the energy transition

Bankable Energies 2025 aims to contribute to accelerating the transition to a sustainable future of energy by leading discussions on sustainable investment and facilitating cooperation among major key stakeholders. An Advisory Board comprising experts and leaders from major organisations guides and advises on the event to ensure it is both insightful and thought-provoking, while also serving as a gateway for making business contacts and exchanging real-life experiences.

In tandem with Bankable Energies 2025, EIC released a UK-focused policy document in July 2024 that highlights key financing challenges that also resonate across the globe — from the lack of access to growth capital for transitioning companies to the complexity of navigating green finance. The EIC Manifesto 2024 points out that many companies struggle to secure financing for renewable projects due to strong ties with oil and gas operations, despite declared ambitions for diversification.
This will be a two-day conference opened by stakeholder insight sessions, followed by in-depth discussions of specific energy sectors, including power generation and hydrocarbons. Premium delegates will have special access to a set of exclusive roundtable discussions and a thought leadership networking session that completes the assurance for value capture.
