Independent tank storage company Vopak is celebrating 35 years in Singapore.
Vopak Terminals Singapore began in 1983 with one terminal and approximately 30 tanks.
The company now operates five terminals with around 500 tanks, storing oil, chemicals and gases.
In 2017, in line with MPA’s directive to improve port efficiency, Vopak introduced a concurrent bunkering service at its Sebarok terminal in Singapore. Vessels calling at the terminal can receive bunkers from bunker barges simultaneously while loading or discharging at the Vopak terminal.
