Smartflow has announced that Vopak will be using the Smartflow Connected Worker SaaS Platform to digitise its frontline operations. Royal Vopak is a leading independent tank storage company.
With over 400 years of experience, Vopak is determined to develop key infrastructure solutions for the world’s changing energy systems while simultaneously investing in digitalisation and innovation. As a common system, Smartflow will support operation, maintenance, and SHEQ teams at the terminals to replace paper-based checklists, digitise inspections, operator rounds, and structure various kinds of workflows and processes using the App and the low-code/no-code SaaS platform.
“With the rollout of the Smartflow platform at our terminals, we will be able to speed up, building our digital infrastructure to transform our frontline operations. Our people at the terminal will be able to work much more efficiently, and they will be supported in standardising processes like ISGOTT and digital operator rounds,” said Leo Brand, CIO at Vopak.
“I am very excited. With this landmark deal, we get the opportunity to expand our presence in the gas, chemicals, and oil business. By servicing our strategic partner Vopak, we can build future proof digitised operations at scale. With our SaaS platform, we are flexible and agile to support the terminal operations both at the global and regional levels,” said Rob Geerts, CEO at Smartflow.
