Freeport LNG applies for DOE export authorisation for Train 4 project

Freeport LNG Expansion, L.P. and FLNG Liquefaction 4, LLC (Applicants) have filed an application with the US Department of Energy (DOE) for authorisation to export 262.8 billion ft3 of LNG over 20 years to countries with and without a Free Trade Agreement with the US in connection with the proposed Train 4 project.
Applicants intend to export LNG from the Train 4 project, to be located at the Freeport LNG liquefaction project under construction on Quintana Island, Texas.
