Audubon Companies (Audubon) has announced that it has been selected by Gulf Coast Midstream Partners (GCMP) to provide front-end engineering and design (FEED) for the Nash Energy Storage Hub, Texas, US. Audubon’s design capabilities and midstream experience will advance development activities for the strategic new natural gas storage facility.

For GCMP’s Nash Energy Storage Hub, Audubon will deliver expert FEED services for the facility scope, leading engineering studies and early design to advance the project to successful final investment decision (FID). The engineering team will apply its multidisciplinary engineering and design expertise to support project definition, technical development, and execution readiness of the new regional natural gas hub. The FEED award reinforces Audubon’s role as a trusted engineering partner for midstream operators developing critical infrastructure for the future of energy.

David Beck, Audubon Managing Director of Midstream, noted: “Projects like Nash reflect where the midstream industry is heading – modern, strategically located infrastructure designed for long-term operational performance. We are proud to bring our dedicated engineering team to move this project forward.”

“We are excited to have assembled such a talented and experienced team to advance the Nash Energy Storage Hub,” said Hugo Guerrero, Chief Operating Officer of GCMP. “We are committed to developing infrastructure that will serve Gulf Coast energy markets with the highest levels of performance, safety, and reliability for decades to come.”

When complete, the Nash Energy Storage Hub will set a new standard for natural gas storage on the lower Texas Gulf Coast. With technical precision, advanced operational technology, and strong safety and environmental performance, the facility will provide reliability and flexibility to regional energy markets.
