Worley has entered into a 50:50 joint venture with Enaval, a company with over 20 years’ experience providing engineering, construction, installation, commissioning, maintenance and modifications to the oil and gas industry in Brazil.

The new joint venture, combining Worley’s global engineering and brownfield capabilities with Enaval’s fabrication services and facilities, will provide brownfield engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and maintenance, modifications and operations (MMO) services from concept to closeout to the Brazilian oil and gas industry.

The Worley Enaval (WE) Integrated Solutions team has been awarded a brownfield subsea tieback contract by a Brazilian oil and gas exploration and production company. WE Integrated Solutions will deliver engineering services, integral to the increased production of an existing floating production storage and offloading unit, directly from the joint venture's offices and fabrication facilities in Rio De Janeiro.

Andrew Wood, Worley CEO, said, “We are delighted to be working with Enaval in Brazil through the WE Integrated Solutions offering.”

Director of Enaval, Amauri F. Rodrigues, said, “WE Integrated Solutions combines the collective experience and knowledge of our organisations to form a new Tier 1 alternative for the Brazilian energy market.”

The new joint venture has also been showcased at a recent UK Government event at the British Consulate in Rio. Joanna Crellin, Her Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for Latin America and the Caribbean, was at the event and said, “I am delighted to see the launch of this joint venture, which brings together a Brazilian and a global company with strong UK North Sea roots at the top of their game to create an exciting new offer to the Brazilian market. It is great that the Department for International Trade (DIT) was able to play a role in bringing these partners together. I look forward to seeing great things from this project in the future.”
