Buckeye Partners LP has announced that it has made an equity investment in OneH2 Inc., a provider of hydrogen fuel supply and logistics solutions.

The company has received certification through the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification PLUS (ISCC PLUS) process for its recycling programme which converts waste plastics into circular polyethylene, and signed a long-term supply agreement with Nexus Fuels LLC as its first supplier of pyrolysis oil.

Once operational, the plant will process around 250 000 t of locally sourced wheat straw per year into 50 000 t of cellulosic ethanol.
