Hydrocarbon Engineering's Senior Editor, Callum O'Reilly, sat down with Alberto Litta Modignani, NextChem Hydrogen Vice President at Maire Tecnimont, to talk about a range of topics including the energy transition and the hydrogen revolution.

Mr Modignani looks at some of the barriers that the energy industry is coming up against when trying to make hydrogen more competitive with fossil fuels. He also outlines what role companies like Maire Tecnimont have to play in the hydrogen economy, and talks through some of the hydrogen projects that the company is currently working on.

The interview also explores a recent article that featured in the August issue of Hydrocarbon Engineering, which was written by MyReChemical - a subsidiary of NextChem, which is Maire Tecnimont’s company for the energy transition.
