The Kuwait Downstream Summit has announced that it has been postponed due to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak. Due to be held on 6 – 7 April at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Kuwait, the event has been moved to 7 – 8 December, at the same location. This decision was made as the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak a global public health emergency and countries around the world have begun enacting measures to restrict the spread of the virus.
“Mindful of the current and evolving health crisis, and after close consultation with the event partners, we have taken the decision to postpone the Kuwait Downstream Summit”, wrote the organisers in a statement.
The Kuwait Downstream Summit is an event which considers the current energy landscape, bringing together regulatory authorities, senior stakeholders, policy makers, influencers and solution providers who are driving the energy eco-system in the region.
