CFO of Continental Energy Corp. steps down

Continental Energy Corp. has announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Robert V. Rudman, will step down from this role on 31 December 2017.

Continental Energy Corp. is an emerging integrator of small scale refinery infrastructure with stranded crude oil production.

Mr Rudman will remain on the company's Board of Directors and also remain as a member of the Audit Committee. He will also continue as Acting CFO until such time as the company has engaged a replacement CFO.

The company's Chief Executive Officer, Richard L. McAdoo, said: "As a Canadian Professional Accountant with more than 30 years of public company experience, Robert has been a valuable and dedicated member of our management team for the past eight years. His contribution to the company as our CFO has been extremely valuable and we look forward to his continuing active involvement in the affairs of the company. Robert will direct the search for a new replacement CFO to prepare the company for its next stage of growth."
