Petrobras signs MoU with ENH of Mozambique

Petrobras has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mozambique’s National Hydrocarbon Company (ENH) to establish the foundation for strategic cooperation between the two companies in the oil and gas sector. The agreement’s objectives include joint efforts in studies, assessment, development, and commercialisation, as well as knowledge sharing and the exchange of technical expertise.

Signing the document on behalf of Petrobras were Sylvia Anjos, Director of Exploration and Production, and Jonilton Pessoa, Executive Manager of Exploration. Signing for the Mozambican company were Rudêncio Morais, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Alegria Cossa, Board Member.

ENH serves as the Mozambican state’s commercial arm for the exploration, production, processing, marketing, and distribution of oil and gas, including project development across the entire oil sector value chain.

The MoU is valid for two years and may be extended by mutual agreement.
