Hill to provide management for Brazilian sustainable ethanol plants

Hill International Inc has announced it has received two contracts from Millenium Bioenergia S.A. to provide project management and construction management services for the construction of two ethanol plants.

Located in Jaciara and Tabapora, Brazil, the ethanol plants are anticipated to be operational in late 2019. They have a combined total project value of US$300 million.

Millenium Bioenergia specialises in ethanol fuel production from sugarcane and corn, dried distillers grains with solubles production (DDGS), and cogeneration of electricity, and is expecting the Jaciara Plant to produce 600 000 lpd of ethanol and the Tabapora Plant 900 000 lpd.
