FES International receives API accreditation

FES International has announced that it has been accredited with the American Petroleum Institute (API) Spec Q1 certification.

The API’s Spec Q1 is a specification for Quality Management System requirements.

The scope of the certification was for the design, manufacture and installation of bend stiffener connectors for load transfer devices and custom-built equipment for the oil and gas industry, as well as the renewable energy sector.

In order to receive accreditation, FES had to follow a challenging API requirement route that included desk top surveys and various stages of extensive audits over a period of six months.

Garry Hartridge, QHSE Manager at FES, said: “Being accredited with API’s industry-leading quality management standard means our current and prospective customers are assured that we operate at the highest of standard and that we will always be able to meet their requirements and needs.”
