Hydrocarbon Engineering,
Following a fast-track engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) phase, Imodco ha announced that it has safely delivered the Limetree Bay terminal in-line with Limetree Bay LLC’s plan.
Johann Declercq, Imodco Managing Director, said: “This was a complex and challenging project with time-to-market driving it. We are delighted to have delivered it to the satisfaction of our client, and I am particularly proud of our team who achieved several world firsts […] What clinched the deal for us was our unrivaled capability to combine Imodco’s EPC know-how with the SBM Offshore Group installation vessel and expertise to deliver an integrated EPCI scope of work.”
Imodco designed, fabricated and supplied a customised large semi-taut system, pipeline-end manifold (PLEM) and umbilicals, a Trelline® flexible subsea line from buoy to PLEM at 41 m and driven anchor piles.
The in-house SBM installer vessel covered the complex mooring and installation operations and logistics, including the anchoring, drilling and installation of piles and grouting on a 20° slope.
