Honeywell has announced that Honeywell Connected Plant Thermal IQ, a cloud-based remote monitoring system designed to monitor and manage critical thermal process data, is now available to customers in the EMEA region.
This cybersecure offering is part of Honeywell’s asset performance management (APM) portfolio that helps customers improve asset performance, which ultimately increases plant uptime.
Thermal IQ is a remote monitoring solution for industrial and commercial thermal applications. It securely connects combustion equipment to the cloud, making critical thermal process data available in real time on any smart device. With Thermal IQ, maintenance engineers and plant managers can more effectively monitor and manage their thermal process equipment, minimising unplanned downtime and maximising uptime.
“Combustion equipment represents some of the most critical technology that can drastically impact plant uptime, not to mention overall plant safety,” said Steve Kenny, General Manager EMEA, Honeywell Thermal Solutions. “Thermal IQ was designed to give operators greater insight into how that equipment is performing and lead to better asset performance, which is a key outcome of Honeywell Connected Plant.”
