Changes to the Executive Committee of Sulzer

Published by , Deputy Editor
Hydrocarbon Engineering,

As the Oil & Gas markets continue to rebound, Sulzer adapts its team to capitalise on a period of sustained growth. To build on the many advances achieved in 2018 in the Pumps Equipment division, Sulzer appoints Fredéric Lalanne, currently Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer (CCMO), as President, Pumps Equipment division.

Michael Streicher, currently President Pumps Equipment division, will step down from the Executive Committee to assume his new responsibilities as Global Head, Water Pumps Business, a business with sales of approximately CHF450 million. In his new role, Michael will report to Frédéric.

The functional sales responsibilities will be eliminated from the CCMO role, which will be renamed Head of Group Business Development, a non-Executive Committee role encompassing strategy, marketing, digitalisation and the newly attached M&A function which previously reported to the CEO. Jonathan Lloyd, currently head of Business Development for Rotating Equipment Services, will become Head of Group Business Development, reporting to the CEO.

All three above appointments become effective on January 1, 2019.
