BHGE and Hoerbiger enter cooperation agreement

Baker Hughes, a GE company, and Hoerbiger Kompressortechnik Holding GmbH have entered into a cooperation agreement for new equipment and the aftermarket business.
Under the agreement, Hoerbiger becomes an authorised service provider for BHGE in 25 countries, making the Hoerbiger locations official distributors and authorised service centers for repairs and field service related to API Reciprocating Compressors.
The new partnership focuses on the global expansion of upgrade services in the oil and gas industry for BHGE’s API Reciprocating Compressors, which are designed and manufactured at its Nuovo Pignone facility in Florence, Italy. The parties have also agreed to cooperate on new compressor and key component development, as well as partnering on Hoerbiger’s core reciprocating compressor components.
The agreement took effect on 1 February 2018.
