Global Compression Services launches one-stop shop for natural gas compressor parts and services

H&S Valve, Ignition Systems and Controls (ISC), Global Compressor and Potemkin have combined to form a new organisation, Global Compression Services, a solutions provider and one-stop shop for natural gas compressor equipment parts and services for operations across the globe.

Anthony Speer, president, Global Compression Services, said: “Combining the talent and expertise of these great organisations allows us to provide exceptional products and services to the gas compression market. As a result, the scope of our product and service offerings will allow us to be a one-stop-shop for much of our customers’ gas compression needs. Our goal is to raise the industry standard of value by offering full manufacturing capabilities that are unrivalled in the after-market compressor parts industry. All our parts are engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications, supported by quick turnarounds, custom parts and high-volume production lines.”

Global Compression Services will operate from 11 locations servicing the top shale plays in the lower 48 US states, with strong access and growth potential in the northeast (Marcellus and Utica) market. A dedicated international in-house sales team will service and co-ordinate shipping to customers across the globe.

The Global Compression Services management team will comprise of: Anthony Speer – president; Terry Frederick – manufacturing general manager; Andrew Armstrong – parts general manager; Doak Crawford – sales general manager; and Alan Bowen – operations general manager.
