MKS Instruments Inc. has announced availability of the Precisive® Gas Analyzer for methane number measurement in gas fuel monitoring and control applications.
The Precisive Gas Analyzer monitors fuel gas quality entering the engine with high speed, accuracy and precision, resulting in efficient and safe engine control. Pre-programmed to output methane numbers consistent with Wartsila, DNV, and Cummins calculations, the analyser provides end-users and integrators with the flexibility to choose which output methane numbers work best for their application.
The analyser can be operated in an MKS patented, zero emissions mode, eliminating greenhouse gas emissions.
“Leveraging our extensive experience in optical gas measurement technology, we reduce operational costs for natural gas and LNG-based engines with real-time, continuous monitoring”, said Vidi Saptari, General Manager of Process & Environmental Analysis Solutions.
The Precisive Analyzer product is available in natural gas and LNG configurations.
