Mitsui Chemicals set to partner with Dangote Industries

Mitsui Chemicals Inc. has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at considering comprehensive collaboration with Dangote Industries Ltd and the consulting firm AAIC Holdings Pte. Ltd.

Dangote was founded in 1981 starting with the cement business, and now operates a diverse range of businesses including a petroleum refinery and petrochemical complex with a production capacity of 650 000 bpd, fertilizers with a capacity of 3 million tpy, cement manufacturing across Africa in 12 countries, and continues to grow as an industrial group representing Nigeria.

Mitsui Chemicals shares the commitment to solving social issues through the domestic production of products promoted by the company, and through this MoU signing, will jointly explore concrete possibilities to contribute to strengthening the living foundations and developing regional industries in African countries including Nigeria.
