President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov had a meeting in Nizhny Novgorod with the Envoy of the Russian Federation President to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov and Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin.
The parties have discussed the progress of major investment projects of the company in the region, in particular, construction of the residue conversion complex and the planned construction of the polypropylene production complex. The new projects once executed aim to make a noticeable contribution to strengthening the region's industrial potential and improving its investment climate.
Based on the cooperation agreement concluded between the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and LUKOIL, the company will continue providing its support to charity projects in the region.
During his working visit, Alekperov also visited the construction site of the residue conversion complex at LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery (wholly-owned subsidiary of PJSC LUKOIL).
