Amec Foster Wheeler wins Shell EFA

Amec Foster Wheeler has announced that it has signed a global Enterprise Framework Agreement (EFA) with Shell Global Solutions International B.V.
Under the five-year agreement, Amec Foster Wheeler will provide engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services for Shell’s downstream projects worldwide.
In a statement, Amec Foster Wheeler said that the contract award marks significant progress in its global engineering consultancy’s strategy to build its EPCM business, and to deploy the capability worldwide.
For any agreements resulting from the EFA, Amec Foster Wheeler will provide concept, front-end engineering, detailed design, procurement, and project and construction management services for refinery, chemical and upgrades projects.

Amec Foster Wheeler said that its ‘More 4 Less’ lean engineering methodology will play an important role in the global framework.
The EFA will run until 2022.
