Merichem appoints new Senior VP and General Manager

Merichem Company has announced the appointment of Cyndie M. Fredrick to the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager of Merichem Process Technologies.
Ms Fredrick’s responsibilities include leadership of the business unit sales, marketing, product execution, R&D, and financial performance.
Ms Fredrick is replacing Mr Ronald Buras, who served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of this business for the last seven years. He is retiring in April.
Ms Fredrick has over 25 years of experience in downstream, midstream, and technology licensing. She comes to Merichem after spending six and a half years with SNC-Lavalin, working as the Vice President of Engineering, Vice President of Operations, and General Manager of their Engineers & Constructors Division. She has also held roles with Exterran and Conoco. She held previous management and engineering roles working for Merichem for 14 years prior to her role at Exterran.
Kendra Lee, Merichem Chairman & CEO, said: “We are excited to welcome Ms Fredrick back to the Merichem team and we are confident Cyndie will take the business to new heights, building on the foundation set by Mr Buras.”
Ms Fredrick holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas, and a MBA from Rice University.
