Okra Energy (USA) has been exclusively awarded the right of first refusal for all future natural gas liquefaction projects on behalf of Lipigas S.A. and its affiliates.

Aimed at developing the LNG market throughout the Americas, the contract grants Okra Energy the option to exclusively supply engineering, construction and liquefaction equipment for the Lipigas corporation, as well as to operate and maintain all of its future LNG plants throughout Latin America.

This builds upon Okra Energy’s 2019 commissioning of the first small-scale natural gas liquefaction facility (Lantera) for the nation of Perú, one of five in Latin America.

Lipigas S.A. provides energy solutions throughout Latin America, supplying LPG and natural gas in various formats, including compressed natural gas, network natural gas, and LNG for clients in the residential, commercial, industrial and transport sectors.
