KANATA Energy announces Taqa North partnership, Valhalla expansion

KANATA Energy Group Ltd, together with its joint venture partner TAQA North Ltd, has announced the completion and start-up of an expansion to the 13-21-076-09 W6M Valhalla Sour Gas Processing Facility.
The facility processing capacity has been expanded from 12 million ft3/d to 45 million ft3/d, with additional liquids handling and underground acid gas disposal, in an effort to improve the environmental footprint of the area’s oil and gas operations.
Customers will have egress optionality as the facility is connected to both the TransCanada and Alliance pipeline systems.
KANATA will be assuming operation of the facility and is marketing available processing capacity.
