Arup appoints senior LNG specialist

Mr Mortimer has more than 28 years’ experience developing major projects around the world including the synfuels complex built in South Africa for PetroSA, the Santos GLNG project in Australia, and the Mozambique Gas Development Project for Anadarko.

Based in Hong Kong, his focus will be on the development of LNG liquefaction, regasification and storage facilities worldwide.

Mr Mortimer said: “Arup’s strength in the market is that it has engineers and naval architects as well as business and investor advisors all under one roof. We are able to bring both technical and consulting services to our clients – and see projects through from inception through to operation.
