Servomex has been awarded a new contract to supply 23 SERVOPRO MultiExact 4100 gas analyzers for Gasunie’s new nitrogen factory, based in the Netherlands. The new contract will see Servomex supply Gasunie with a turnkey gas solution to treat high-calorific natural gas.

Recent developments to reduce gas extraction from the Groningen gas field has led to the construction of a new nitrogen installation, which takes nitrogen from the air and blends it with imported high-calorific gas.

The SERVOPRO MultiExact 4100 from Servomex is a high performance, multi-gas component analyser, measuring up to four gas streams simultaneously. It will enable the 37 required measuring points in the nitrogen factory to be covered with fewer analysers, making for a more cost-effective solution.

Servomex will also provide on-site commissioning for the entire system, and a service support plan- ensuring system uptime.

The contract builds on a 15-year partnership between Servomex and Gasunie. Jan Hordijk, Regional Sales Manager, Servomex, said: “Gasunie has an existing nitrogen facility in the country using Servomex analysers, and has been delighted with the performance of our systems, and the service support we provide to them, over the past 15 years.

“This new contract will allow us to provide unified service support for both sites, ensuring consistent and reliable operation. We’re very pleased to continue our partnership with Gasunie to deliver a turnkey gas analysis solution for this major project.”

The Servomex gas analysis systems are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2020, with the new Zuidbroek factory in operation from April 2022.
