Enterprise Products Partners LP has announced that it has begun construction of the Mentone cryogenic natural gas processing plant in Loving County, Texas, US.
The facility, which is expected to begin service in 1Q20, will have the capacity to process 300 million ft3/d of natural gas and extract in excess of 40 000 bpd of NGL. The project is supported by a long-term acreage dedication agreement.
A.J. Teague, CEO of Enterprise’s general partner, said: “The new plant complements our Orla natural gas processing complex in Reeves County, Texas where the second of three trains is now in service. The third train is on schedule for completion in 2Q19. Orla and Mentone combined will provide 1.3 billion ft3/d of natural gas processing capacity and 195 000 bpd of NGL production.”
