Rolande LNG has announced that it has taken over ENN Clean Fuels BV, a subsidiary of ENN Energy Holdings Ltd.
Following the acquisition, Rolande has added two LNG service stations (located in Zaandam and Oss, the Netherlands) to its network. The company now has a total of eight LNG service stations throughout the country.
The company’s CEO, Jolon van der Schuit, said: "The acquisition of the ENN stations is in line with our strategic plan to further strengthen our market position in the Netherlands in the coming years. As [an] LNG specialist, we know that the LNG market in the Netherlands is still relatively small and that much focus is needed to make LNG and bio-LNG strong. We are convinced that transport can […] be greener. As a current market leader, we strive to achieve this by providing our customers with a national and eventually European-wide LNG network. In addition, we are already very active to grow the LNG for a bio version called bio-LNG. In this area too, we will realise the necessary growth in the short term."
