Tecam secures new emissions elimination contract

Hydrocarbon Engineering,

Tecam has been awarded a new key technology project for emissions treatment in New Zealand.

The contract is Tecam’s first project in Oceania.

Under the terms of the agreement, Tecam will supply a New Zealand steel production company with the engineering, procurement, installation and maintenance service of a Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) system for the elimination of polluting emissions generated during production processes.

Following the installation of this turnkey project, this steel production company will be able to eliminate 99.9% of its pollutant emissions through an environmentally friendly exhaust gas cleaning system. In this case, Tecam has proposed a custom RTO as the most optimal solution after analysing the technical requirements of the customer, taking into account the air flow to be treated and the nature and characteristics of the vapours emitted.

“We are very glad to reach another continent with our environmental projects for emissions abatement,” said Bernat Sala, CEO of Tecam. “It is a pleasure to offer effective and efficient environmental solutions to our customers worldwide”.
