QTerminals, the terminal operating company jointly established by Qatar Ports Management Company (Mwani) and Qatar Navigation (Milaha), has awarded WorleyParsons a Design and Supervision Consultancy contract for the container terminal 2 (CT2) project at Hamad Port.

WorleyParsons had previously worked on the establishment of the initial greenfield harbour, the naval base and cargo terminal developments at Hamad Port. This project is scheduled for completion by October 2021.

“I’m delighted to see us continue our longstanding support of the Hamad Port Complex, with this QTerminals contract and pleased to see WorleyParsons contribute to helping Qatar realise its vision of becoming a state-of-the-art regional port hub,” commented Andrew Cocksedge, Location Director, Qatar.
