Conestoga Energy Holdings, LLC, announced that it has acquired the assets of VicNRG, a leading marketing, distribution and terminal operating company for biodiesel. The purchase will enable Conestoga and VicNRG to better serve the needs of their customers in the energy and agriculture sectors.

A subsidiary of Conestoga Energy Holdings, Conestoga Energy Partners, LLC is a leader in the marketing and production of low-carbon renewable energy. Established in 2006, Conestoga Energy is based in Liberal, Kansas and operates three plants with a total production capacity of 205 million gal.

Founded in 2009, VicNRG is headquartered in Southlake, Texas and currently operates eight terminal locations in Arizona, California, Indiana, Nebraska, South Dakota and Texas.

“Our acquisition of VicNRG complements our business model of serving markets that are boutique and unique,” said Tom Willis, Chief Executive Officer of Conestoga Energy Holdings. “This investment represents an important strategic opportunity for us to be a midstream provider of biodiesel marketing and logistics.”
