In this Spotlight interview, we sit down with Luis Hoffmann, Head of Renewables Process Technology, Sulzer Chemtech, and Emmanuelle Chauveau, Product Line Manager, Sulzer Chemtech, to discuss their article that featured in the October 2024 issue of Hydrocarbon Engineering magazine.

 

Titled ‘The next step in dissolution recycling’, this article considers how polymer recycling presents both a critical challenge and an opportunity to incorporate sustainability in industrial practices worldwide. However, it is essential that the practice is supported by effective methods.

This Spotlight explores some of these challenges and opportunities, and examines how dissolution recycling has captured the space between mechanical and chemical recycling technologies.
