KBR awarded EPC contract for Monroe ULSG project

KBR Inc. has announced it has been awarded a contract to provide Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services to Monroe Energy for the company's Tier 3 Ultra-Low-Sulfur Gasoline (ULSG) Project at Monroe's Refinery in Trainer, PA.

Pursuant to the terms of the contract, KBR will provide EPC services to relocate and reconstruct an idle 60 000 bpd SCANfining™ unit from another facility to Monroe's Refinery.

Start-up of the unit is expected in 2017.

Revenue associated with this project will be booked into backlog of unfilled orders for KBR's Engineering & Construction Business Segment during the second quarter of 2016.
