AUMA has announced the appointment if Dr Christoph Göttlicher as Chief Technical Officer (CTO).
Dr Göttlicher will be responsible for Product Management, Research and Development, Business Development and Innovations within the global AUMA Group.
He succeeds former Technical Managing Director Henrik Newerla, who retired from AUMA Management on 31 July 2018 after 32 years of service to the company.
According to CEO Dr. Jörg Hoffmann, the appointment of Dr Göttlicher as CTO completes the successful change to a new generation of AUMA Management. On 31 December 2017, former Commercial Managing Director Matthias Dinse resigned from active management and joined the company’s Advisory Board.
Dr Göttlicher will be responsible for the development of new products and business models, including digital services.
“We are happy to have attracted an experienced R&D specialist for this crucial role,” said CEO Dr. Hoffmann. “We appreciate Dr Göttlicher’s strong focus on development methods and processes – and on the people involved. With his know-how he will create new initiatives, especially for innovation in our automation solutions and digital services, and help us focus on our customers even more. We thank Henrik Newerla for his long-standing dedication and we wish him all the best for the future.”
