NAES to operate ethanol biorefinery in North Dakota

NAES Corp. has been selected by owner BioMass Solution LLC to operate and maintain Red River Biorefinery in Grand Forks, North Dakota, US.
The facility is designed to produce 16.5 million gal./yr of fuel-grade ethanol from sugar beet tailings, potato wastes and other organic byproducts.
The owner recently achieved financial close for the plant and has issued full notice to proceed with construction activities. Commercial operations are scheduled for late 2019.
