KBC Advanced Technologies Plc has announced that it received a multi-million dollar reliability and maintenance contract from a major Russian refining company. This contract follows the initial study phase performed by KBC, and is the largest reliability and maintenance project in the company’s history.
The services provided will increase maintenance and reliability performance at multiple refining sites to allow the client to deliver leading performance with respect to operational availability at optimum cost. The scope includes optimisation of maintenance turnarounds using KBC’s Turnaround Optimisation Program™ standards, as well as routine maintenance and reliability improvement initiatives.
“We are delighted to have been awarded this contract which demonstrates KBC’s ability to secure major bottom line benefits for its clients during difficult economic conditions within the oil industry. Looking forward, we see this as a stepping stone to expanding our footprint within Russia and the FSU,” commented Kevin Smith, KBC’s Chief Commercial Officer.
