Quadrimex Chemical’s oil and gas business unit has increased its activities in the Middle East. The company offers hydrocarbons drying technologies that fit the increasing quality specifications of refineries. Its Newton’s® technology provides a 80 ppmW water specification final product.
2017 ended with three great successes for the company in this area.
In Jazan, Saudi Arabia, the process design package of a new production unit was completed. The company’s engineering department designed and followed the construction of six new dryers (four in activity and two spares) dedicated to diesel treatment. The parameters of the unit are as follows:
- 1200 m3/hr of treated diesel.
- An inlet product with around 200 ppmW going down to 80 ppmW water specification.
In Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia, Quadrimex was entrusted for the PDP of a new diesel drying unit construction. This unit will have the following characteristics:
- A total of three dryers (two in activity and one spare).
- 500 m3/hr treated diesel.
- An inlet product with around 200 ppmW going down to 80 ppmW water specification.
In Bahrain, Quadrimex supplied its K-TRAP® briquettes based on potassium hydroxide for LPG drying – a renewed trust for the 12th consecutive year.
