Hydrocarbon Engineering,
Quadrimex Chemical has furthered its activities in Asian refineries and has proved its expertise in dealing with specific industrial issues through a tailor-made approach.
In Singapore, one of Quadrimex Chemical’s recent customers was facing two major challenges: increase the flow rate of the diesel unit while maintaining the ‘clear and bright’ quality of the final product.
To deal with these challenges, the Quadrimex Chemical’s engineering division designed a new diesel drying unit especially for the customer. The Newton’s dryer was implemented between the existing vacuum dryer and the diesel storage tank, which helped the refinery increase the flow rate by 20%. It also allowed an 80 ppm water specification on the hydrocarbon at the end of the process. A ‘clear and bright’ product that meets the requirements of the customers and the market.
Thanks to this success, Quadrimex Chemical has since signed two new projects, one in Taïwan and one in India.
