US state agencies have approved new regulations to strengthen workplace and environmental safety at oil refineries across California.

Amec Foster Wheeler has been awarded a front-end engineering design contract by Total Raffinage France for its Donges refinery.

Samsung Engineering and Petrofac have received notification of intent from Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries for a contract worth around US$2 billion.
