Turkey’s largest EPC migrates to AVEVA E3D
AVEVA has announced that Tefken Engineering, Turkey’s largest EPC contractor, has migrated to AVEVA Everything3D (AVEVA E3D). Tefken is renowned as an early adopter of innovative technologies and will be using AVEVA’s software solution to further increase business efficiency through higher quality design deliverables and more effective multidiscipline collaboration.
Mr. Alparslan Gure, President of Tefken Engineering, commented: “We have long recognised that AVEVA’s software is the industry standard for engineering and design. We have been impressed with AVEVA PDMS for many years; our migration to AVEVA E3D is a strategic investment to future proof our business in the face of shortening project deadlines and higher expectations from our clients in terms of design outputs. Increasingly, our projects span continents and time zones, so the collaboration capabilities of AVEVA E3D will also help us to ensure that all stakeholders have the right information at the right time”.
Dave Wheeldon, CTO, AVEVA, said: “Many of our long established customers are recognizing both the immediate and long term benefits of migrating to AVEVA E3D. The open and flexible nature of our technology, combined with tight integration with existing AVEVA engineering software means that Tefken will be able to significantly increase efficiencies in their operations. It provides a powerful tool for visualizing their 3D designs and will enable them to eliminate costly project work”.
