Mokveld receives Functional Safety Management certificate

Mokveld Valves BV has become the first valve manufacturer in the world to have implemented a Functional Safety Management System for providing critical safety systems up to safety level SIL3, and to have it third party certified.
In order to obtain the Functional Safety Management certificate, the company followed the IEC 61508 chapter 6 and IEC 61511 chapter 5. Mokveld will be audited periodically to maintain this high safety level.
In recent years, Mokveld has invested in formal training of its staff. The company currently employs more than 30 Certified Functional Safety Engineers.
