Hydrocarbon Engineering,
This year’s Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2018 will focus on digital transformation of the industry.
In line with this topic, Sulzer Chemtech has announced that it will present its latest developments in separation technology by means of augmented reality (AR) apps. In addition, pumping technology and rotating equipment services will be showcased.
Policymakers and industry experts in the oil and gas sector will gather together at the 21st edition of ADIPEC, taking place from 12 – 15 November, to discuss the future of upstream, midstream and downstream sectors in the Middle East and worldwide.
Sulzer will present developments in processing technology for gas/liquid and liquid/liquid separation for the oil and gas industry, including columns, column internals, mist eliminators and separator vessels.
Two AR apps will overlay images, videos, text and audio onto the physical world to provide a hands-on experience of real-world chemical process plants, such as a downstream phenylenediamine isomer separation apparatus, and how Sulzer’s equipment fits into them.
