Hydrocarbon Engineering,
ICIS has announced the launch of the ICIS small-scale LNG portal, a free web-based platform that offers users in-depth coverage of the small-mid scale LNG sector.
The platform focuses on European small-mid scale LNG value chain but also offers a wider view on global developments. The portal boasts real-time news and pricing reports, as well as analysis into the emerging markets for marine and trucked LNG.
Changes in regulations are forcing many industries to convert to LNG for both environmental and economic reasons. Dedicated LNG infrastructure under construction is reassuring investors and the increasing number of market participants.
Nevertheless, several obstacles continue to hinder key prospective stakeholders and delay market development.
The ICIS ssLNG portal intends to lessen some of these challenges by providing transparent market intelligence and key price references. It offers a conversion tool facilitating volumetric and price comparisons across competing transport fuels, as well as incisive news and analysis of underlying market fundamentals.
