Hexagon acquires Industrial Business Solutions

Hexagon PPM has acquired Industrial Business Solutions Inc. (IBS), the developer of ContinuumEdge (CE) software.
CE is a cloud software suite with a focus on completions and commissioning that enables industrial enterprises to report and oversee multi-discipline tasks being performed in real time.
As a result of the acquisition, CE is being renamed Intergraph Smart Completions.
Mattias Stenberg, President of Hexagon, said: “The IBS acquisition is a significant addition for Hexagon within the plant life cycle sector. Completions and commissioning is a critical phase of all projects, and by integrating CE into our portfolio, we are adding a comprehensive solution proven to provide visibility of systems completions throughout the entire life cycle of any size project.”
