Hydrocarbon Engineering,

Dräger has released its Regard 7000 modular control system for monitoring various gases and vapours.

The system has a maximum of 1536 combined channel inputs and outputs, and is backwards compatible with previous Regard systems.

The system processes analogue transmitter input signals supporting remote access via a HART (highway addressable remote transducer) system for installation, configuration, maintenance, and documentation of the gas detection system. A Modbus RTU (remote terminal unit) output is available for retransmitting gas detection data to higher-level systems.
